Birmingham City have moved from 5th to 18th on the Championship table after receiving a 9-point deduction from the Football League. They are 5 points clear of the relegation zone.
The league found that Birmingham City had lost over $64 million from 2016, more than the league limit of $51 million.
Much of the spending took place under Harry Redknapp and Gianfranco Zola.
